Överraskning: min kurs är på svenska

A lecture on computer science in Swedish offers the rather unique opportunity to learn new words and phrases. Although no explicit translation is given during the lecture, it is possible to pick up Swedish because the lecturer presents the concepts using multiple modalities: speech, mimics, gestures, text and pictures on the blackboard, slides on the screen. I am looking forward to learn system construction in C++ and Swedish in parallel. So, just for the fun of it: en pekare is a pointer — the first word I have learned this way in the lecture.
